The X-PULSE is a broadband impulsive acoustic source producing 217dB re 1μPa at one metre — outperforming FM chirp in reverberation conditions where conventional sources lose resolution. Compact enough to fit in a UUV nosecone, the X-PULSE delivers mission-grade acoustic output at 1 watt per five pulses per second. Operating from 5kHz to 500kHz with up to 0.2 joules per impulse, it covers small object detection, swarm coordination, underwater communications, antifouling, and beacon deployment from a single system.
